Project

A few years ago, I’ve had an opportunity to furnish a pub in Birmingham. I was trusted with all the furniture and some other pieces to make the place ready for reopening – in brief the owners wanted it to be cool and trendy, but fit into a small budget.

To organize and execute it was a great challenge for me, both the project management and logistics part - I have not done a project this size before. At this point I was only making furniture to satisfy my need to create new and interesting items. I looked in vintage shops designed and made the rest of the parts. The result was a mix of vintage originals, industrial, upcycled and reclaimed pieces - they blend together beautifully. I have designed and custom-made simple tables to match all the different styles of chairs and to bring unity to the design. I've finished it off with a lamp above the fireplace made out of a motorcycle.

I'm glad I could try myself in interior design and I'm looking forward to the next one.
